The automatic drainage vacuum system is mainly composed of integrated self-drainage vacuum barrels, liquid ring vacuum pumps (main and auxiliary pumps), detection devices (pressure transmitters, level gauges, etc.), three-way pneumatic ball valves, self-priming switches, etc. When working, through the preset program, according to the feedback signal of the vacuum barrel's own detection equipment, the PLC controls the switch of the pneumatic valve on the vacuum barrel by itself to achieve the discharge of filtrate. The design of double vacuum pump ensures that under the premise of high vacuum degree, the fluctuation of vacuum degree can be ensured not higher than 0.01MPa by switching the main pump in advance. And the power of the auxiliary pump is much lower than the power of the filter pump in the filter pump drainage, and the operating cost is low.

4.Operation process

(1). The auxiliary pump is always connected to the upper layer. The vacuum pump switches between the upper layer and the lower layer through the switch of the three-way circulating valve.
(2). After driving, the vacuum pump and auxiliary pump start, the circulation valve opens, the vacuum pump is connected to the lower layer, the bypass valve opens after the delay setting time, and the filtrate is discharged to the lower barrel.
(3). When the liquid level reaches the set upper limit, the circulation valve is closed, the vacuum pump is connected to the upper layer, the bypass valve is closed, the self-priming switch automatically opens, and the drainage begins.
(4). After the liquid level is lower than the set lower limit, repeat the previous action and keep cycling.
